Nevaven | Cinematic AI Experience
Nevaven is a boundary-pushing hybrid digital experience that merges the art of cinematic storytelling with the precision of advanced AI orchestration. DGN Digital was tasked with creating an immersive, noir-terminal interface that feels alive, responsive, and infinitely engaging.
The technical hurdle was real-time AI narrative generation without the typical latency associated with large language models. We needed to maintain a high-fidelity visual experience—complete with scanlines, glassmorphism, and complex typewriter animations—while ensuring the underlying state management remained rock-solid during long, branching sessions.
We integrated the Gemini 2.0 Flash API through a secure, high-speed proxy layer, implementing streaming responses to eliminate perceived latency. A custom 'Neural Engine' was built using React and GSAP to handle complex UI state transitions and atmospheric visual effects. We utilized Framer Motion for micro-interactions and a custom-built typewriter engine that synchronizes audio-visual cues with the AI's output, creating a truly 'Neural' feel.
