Skyline Properties | Immersive VR Sales
Skyline Properties redefined luxury real estate sales through a photo-realistic, browser-native 3D/VR touring platform. DGN Digital engineered an immersive sales environment that allows global investors to explore architectural visions as if they were standing in them.
The primary goal was to deliver a 60 FPS, high-fidelity 3D experience directly in the browser without requiring any auxiliary software or plugins. We needed to handle massive architectural models (BIM) while ensuring the loading process was fast and the visual quality remained at a 'Cinematic' level.
We utilized Three.js and custom GLSL shaders to build a progressive loading engine that prioritizes the user's immediate field of view. We implemented advanced texture compression and PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials to simulate realistic lighting and material properties. We also built a VR-ready mode that supports modern headsets directly through the browser, providing a truly immersive walkthrough experience.
